A Renaissance-Themed Wedding Stationery Suite for Tuana & Ali

Everyone who knows me, knows that I'm a sucker for a big concept. So when Tuana & Ali contacted me about their Renaissance themed wedding with a Bosphorus view, I was ecstatic to say the least!

I am thrilled to share the inspiration behind this gorgeous Bosphorus wedding and the custom stationery suite, which draws deeply from Renaissance art. This project allowed me to weave the timeless beauty of classical art into a playful wedding narrative.

Layering the custom watercolor illustration and a beautiful sunset video I received from the couple, I first created the digital invitation in a mixed media format. The illustration was inspired by Botticelli's ethereal "The Birth of Venus", the couple's love for Italian umbrella pine trees and the iconic wedding venue "Esma Sultan".

Then, I incorporated flowing lines, a soft color palette, and intricate seashell & floral details throughout the suite. Every detail was carefully designed to echo the romanticism and sophistication of this period, with a little bit of whimsy. The full suite included the digital invites, printed oval-shaped invitations, a custom wax seal, menus, table numbers, an acrylic seashell-shaped cocktail menu and the dance floor vinyl.

This bespoke stationery suite offers Tuana & Ali a chance to step into their own Renaissance-inspired love story, with stationery that embodies timeless elegance and artistic grandeur.
